Did I mention I have tender feelings towards her?
We were so happy to go to Utah for Christmas. Alex had surgery two weeks prior and we thought that he would be back on his feet a week later. Unfortunately, he did not heal as quickly as we had hoped and we had all but decided on staying in Texas for the Holidays so that he could mend. The day before, Alex was able to walk around the house and was determined to be well enough to go on the trip.
So we did.
Although we didn't stay as long which is why we weren't able to see everyone. We're so sorry if we weren't able to see you. Please know you are loved and if we had a car and a few more days before Seminary started, we would have been able to spend time with you.
Here are some of the faces of Christmas...but first...Luke turned 5 months over the Christmas break. I feel like he's saying, "Tadah!" in the picture on the left.

The Vance's got Luke this awesome Dinosaur with a bunch of dinosaur figurines. He was quite content for a while, and then I think he got hungry. Thank-you Vances for the awesome gift!
This is how I get Luke to enjoy tummy time. I turn on Backyardigans. It's actually quite entertaining. The two of us get lost in it sometimes.

so sad we didn't get a chance to see you guys, but glad alex is feeling better with his back! if you aren't able to make it back to utah before we move at the end of april, maybe we can road trip to see you guys when we are living in tx!
Merry Christmas Nu face! I wished we could have seen you but we were in CA. I'm glad you had a mellow day, I'm glad you've had some reminiscing, I'm glad you have a baby, and I'm glad we are friends. :)
