Game Day, Food, and Misc.

1. This is what I made for dinner last night. It's called, "Italian Chicken Soup" from thepioneerwoman.com. It is scrumptious. We have three tupperware full of leftovers as well.

This is what I made for dinner last Sunday: I would have to say it is even better than the Italian Chicken soup. It's called, "Cajun Chicken Pasta" from thepioneerwoman.com as well. It's definitely a show stopper in my book.

2. This is what I saw a lot of on Saturday.

It was Game Day. I went to a church meeting in the morning and so Al and Luke got to spend a majority of the day together. The best part of it is that whenever I tried to feed Luke, change his diaper, or even interact with him-he would strain his head around me to continue watching the games. He is truly his father's son.

3. We had a huge church weekend this past weekend. I played at an interfaith luncheon on Friday, a service project on Saturday and then we had Priesthood Preview last night. I woke up this morning feeling as though I hadn't slept in days. Plus, it's really foggy outside. The weather is mirroring my mood, it seems.

4. Family is coming into town this week. I LOVE when Family comes into town. It seems as though the excitement is even greater now that the family has Luke to play with. Isn't it awesome to have things to look forward to?

5. We are hooked on the TV show, Parks and Recreation. We started watching it on Netflix a few weeks back and can't stop. We are all caught up and are ready for new episodes from this season. Andy is by far our favorite character, Ron is close second and Tom Haveford for third.

Luke's fallen asleep in his swing, the house needs to be cleaned before lessons as well as Primary e-mails sent, menus to be made, t's to be crossed and i's to be dotted. But frankly, I might just snuggle up for another nap. Love you all and hope life is pleasant and as exciting as you want it to be!
