A Thousand Words

I'm sure you've heard the words, "A picture says a thousand words."
This post is dedicated to such a phrase.

Although he will not appreciate his being the spotlight of a post, I simply had to give each of you a taste into my husbands personality. Alex, a man who hates pictures, actually stopped and began making faces while I snapped away quickly.

I came out from taking a nap and saw Bella here:

I was slightly concerned but impressed when she bravely and ever so gracefully bounded to the couch without creating even the slightest teetering of the harp.

This is my new nephew, Jackson. I love his little scrunched up face and thought the thousand words hidden within this photo begins somewhere along the bounds of sibling love and concern. Don't get me going on that, I could bear my testimony of how much I owe to my siblings love and concern for me.

This is a perfect image of my niece, Kaylee. She got her front teeth knocked out when she was jumping on the tramp with her little brother, Packer. This image, I think, is how I will always remember Kaylee-even when she is all grown. Kaylee, the sweet, girly, candy-loving, make-up wearing, hair styling, giggling Kaylee.

Finally, it was Luke's blessing today.
It was absolutely ideal.
And we actually had a miracle happen: A picture with both Alex and my eyes open? Shocking...I know. Poor baby Luke was exhausted. It's difficult being the center of attention.
